Both arches of a full-arch implant bridge from the practice's own work, closed together

Implants & Restorative

All Teeth Missing

Four to six implants can hold an entire arch — fixed permanently, or as an overdenture that clips in and out for cleaning.

  • Fixed full-arch

A permanent bridge screwed onto the implants.

It stays in your mouth, you clean around it like natural teeth, and it feels closest to what you had before. It is the more involved option and the more expensive one.

  • Implant overdenture

A denture that clicks onto two to four implants.

It comes out for cleaning but does not move while you eat or speak, which is the complaint everybody has about conventional dentures. Considerably more affordable than a fixed arch.

  • What both do that a denture cannot

They load the jawbone. A conventional denture rests on the gum and the bone beneath it keeps shrinking year after year — which is why old dentures stop fitting and why long-term denture wearers lose facial height.

Our work

A completed case at the practice: an arch of teeth on a milled titanium frame that screws onto the implants, rather than a denture resting on the gum. The mouth and the X-ray first, then both finished arches photographed off the patient.

One patient's mouth photographed before and after full-arch treatment: above, a few heavily decayed and broken teeth with gaps between them; below, a complete upper and lower arch of white teeth
The same mouth before treatment and after it. What was left of the natural teeth could not be restored, so the arches were rebuilt on implants and the teeth screwed onto them. One patient's case, photographed under the same light and from the same distance both times.
Two panoramic dental X-rays of the same jaws, one above the other: the upper shows a handful of remaining tooth roots, the lower shows twelve implants carrying a fixed bridge in each jaw
The same case on the panoramic X-ray, which is where the work is actually visible. Six implants in each jaw carry a bridge that is screwed down — the bright band across both arches — rather than a denture resting on the gum.
A finished upper and lower full-arch implant bridge, the two arches closed together against a black background
Both arches, finished and closed together. This is where the work ends up — a full set of teeth that is screwed down and stays there.
Both arches of a full-arch implant bridge seen from above, the titanium bars and their screw channels facing the camera
Both arches from above, frames facing up. Four to six implants carry an arch, and the channels are milled to meet them.

Individual results vary. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
