  • When a veneer is the right answer

Chips, worn edges, permanent discolouration that will not whiten, and small irregularities in shape or position.

If the underlying problem is alignment, aligners first will usually mean fewer veneers, or none.

  • Minimal preparation

Removing enamel is irreversible, so we remove as little as we can — sometimes none at all.

Preserving enamel matters because porcelain bonds to enamel far better than it bonds to dentine, which is what makes a veneer last.

  • The trial smile

Before anything is prepared we design the result digitally and trial it in your mouth in composite.

You wear it home, live with it for a day, and tell us what to change. Only then do we begin.

  • Looking after them

Brush and floss as normal. If you grind your teeth we will make you a night guard — porcelain is strong under compression and vulnerable to shear, and grinding is the main reason veneers fail.

Our work

Completed cases at the practice: chipped and worn front teeth rebuilt with porcelain veneers, each photographed before and after.

One patient's smile before treatment: worn, chipped and uneven upper front teeth
Before. Front teeth worn down and chipped at the edges, with gaps opening between them.
The same patient's smile after treatment: an even, rebuilt row of upper front teeth
After. The edges rebuilt and the gaps closed, so the front teeth read as one even row again.
A second patient's smile before treatment: worn, discoloured upper front teeth with a chipped edge
Before. Upper front teeth worn, discoloured and chipped along the biting edge.
The same patient's smile after treatment, seen slightly from the side: an even row of white porcelain upper front teeth
After. The upper front teeth rebuilt in porcelain into one even row. One patient's case.

Individual results vary. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
